Mobile Food Pantry

Feeding West Michigan

Mark Marana, Principal of Negaunee High School indicated, “We are enthused to host our 5th mobile Food Pantry with Feeding America on May 16th. It is a great opportunity for our students to give back to the community and it is a much needed program that we are proud to be involved with.”

Food insecurity affects 1 in 8 people in West Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. In 2015, Feeding America West Michigan’s Mobile Pantry program provided 10.7 million pounds of food to people in the region. That’s the equivalent of nearly 9 million meals.
